BIOGRAPHY

Paul Lovelace is a New York based director, producer and editor. Most recently Paul directed, produced and edited HOT GREASE a documentary for the Discovery Channel about biodiesel. In 2006, Paul wrote, produced, and edited the PBS documentary AMERICAN ROOTS MUSIC: CHICAGO. Paul’s first documentary feature as director and producer THE HOLY MODAL ROUNDERS…BOUND TO LOSE. In 2012 Paul directed and produced the award winning and critically acclaimed RADIO UNNAMEABLE released by Kino Lorber. RADIO UNNAMEABLE premiered on PBS in August 2013. Paul edited and co-produced IRIS, directed by the late Albert Maysles, about fashion icon Iris Apfel which was released worldwide in 2015. In 2016 Paul edited AFTER SPRING, a feature length documentary about the Syrian refugee crisis that was Executive Produced by Jon Stewart.
