Russell has edited numerous shorts and features, including the recently released horror/thriller “Becoming” starring Toby Kebbel, Penelope Mitchell and Jason Patric. Thrillist declared it one of the best horror movies of 2020.

More recently he did a re-edit of the upcoming indie drama “Get Away If You Can”, which co-star Ed Harris praised by emailing the directors: “The editor did a great job of putting all your pieces of the puzzle together in a cohesive, well-paced, provocative manner.”

He spent most of 2019 working on the upcoming documentary feature “reFashioned”, about the sustainable fashion industry in Hong Kong. In 2013 he co-edited the indie rom-com “Let’s Ruin It With Babies”.

In 2014 he edited the short “M is for Masticate” which won the coveted empty slot for the horror anthology “The ABCs of Death 2”. He also edited the short “Horrific” which was then placed into two horror anthologies, “Minutes Past Midnight” and “Hellarious”.

He has also cut numerous commercials for brands like Doritos, Toyota and Johnnie Walker. Throughout his career he’s also worked for companies like Disney, Netflix, Showtime, AMC and more.
